The infinite canvas with AI blocks
Perhap's take on an AI playground, developed in early 2023 when widespread use of LLMs was taking off.
Overview [edit]
Built on an infinite canvas, users could experiment with AI before coding, using chains, variables, and the latest models. The aim was to get the whole product team involved in the process of building LLM applications. Many of the interactions developed by the team were used in the Perhaps Workspace.

Features [edit]
- The basis on the canvas were blocks, which could be called as variables from other blocks, letting users easily create chains.
- Blocks could be called from an app via API.
- Users could test different models to see which one worked best with their prompts
- Blocks had structured outputs, which were new at the time
